HARD SKILLS

Full-Stack Mobile App Developer | Self-employed | Dec 2025 – Present

  • Developing an app that helps people be present in the moment and thus help regulate their nervous system.
  • Details can be found here.

Research Intern | TNO & University of Amsterdam | Apr 2025 – Nov 2025

  • I interned in the Applied Cryptography and Quantum Algorithms (ACQuA) department, applying reinforcement learning to the initial mapping and routing problems in the context of quantum compilation. Or, if you will, I am using AI to find seating arrangement for guests at a wedding. These two tasks are virtually the same.
  • This project was part of my master thesis in AI at the University of Amsterdam.

TECHNICAL LEAD (AI) | Applied Complexity | Jan 2024 – Present

  • I am developing a pipeline that generates causal loop diagrams from speech for Applied Complexity using Transformer and MoE architectures, fine-tuning, quantization, RAG, LangChain and LangGraph, and making a website for visualization using HTML, CSS, JS, and Python.

TEACHER ASSISTANT | University of Amsterdam | Sep 2022 – Dec 2023, Sep 2024 - Nov 2024

  • TA of Reinforcement learning (MSc AI), Computer vision 1 (MSc AI), and Python, SQL, CSS and HTML for the courses Scientific Programming (Head TA) and Digital Expertise.
  • Refactored and extended autograding scripts and expanded the scope of the assignments for the MSc AI course Information Retrieval 1.

CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT | University Medical Center Amsterdam | Jan 2022 – Mar 2022

  • I extracted data on predictors of MDD, anxiety, and substance use disorders from scientific publications as part of a meta-analysis.

EDITOR IN CHIEF | Spiegeloog | Apr 2021 – Jun 2022

  • I used to be editor-in-chief of Spiegeloog, the magazine for Psychology at the University of Amsterdam (2021-2022) where I co-organised a group of roughly 30 editors and illustrators.
  • My responsibilities included leading the meetings, giving feedback on articles, layouting the magazine and publishing it on the website, and collaborating with other student associations. This taught me a great deal about public speaking, conflict resolution, team-building and effective communication.

DEVELOPMENTAL RESEARCH INTERN | University of Amsterdam | Mar 2021 – Aug 2021

  • I cleaned and analyzed data using R for a language learning study where Dutch primary school pupils (from a total of 4 schools and several classes within schools) interacted with a custom app to learn English.

SLEEP RESEARCH INTERN | University of Amsterdam | Jul 2020 – Aug 2020

  • I collected data from a 64-channel EEG, wireless EEG headband, EMG and EOG, and sleep stage scored according to the AASM guidelines.
  • I guided the participants through the whole experimental protocol from briefing to data collecting and debriefing.
  • This was an intense internship, sleeping in the lab and for half the night during experiments is tough, all props to sleep researchers :)

WAITRESS | Impero Romano Amsterdam | Jan 2020 – Aug 2022

  • I was a waitress at an Italian restaurant responsible for greeting, ordering and waiting the tables, preparing drinks, re-stocking and cleaning.
